Is it possible to recover a iMessage conversation run that was deleted by the other contact?

Like an entire conversation? The other contact doesn't have that capability. They cannot delete entire conversations from another person's phone. They can only unsend individual messages within 2 minutes after they sent it.

It's likely you accidentally deleted it yourself. If you have iOS 16 or later, check to see if it's in the Recently Deleted area.

It's not in the recently deleted.

Turns out. When the other contact removed a like or something on the original conversation, it created what appears to be a new second conversation with nothing in it, so that confused me. I can see the older one now as well.

So maybe this was like an alert or notification of that action. I'm not a power iMessage user that needs or uses nearly most of the extras, text + images 99% covers needs.
