Recover ****** Password from OS-X ?

Running OS-X 10.6.2
I have lost a wireless password and don't want to have to reset it via the router box. The connection still works but the password is ******* not readable. Is there a way to make it visible or retrieve the password via the OS? Hope this is a simple one for this forum of experts.

Utilities -> Keychain Access

Double-click the SSID (has a Kind of Airport Network Password) and then click Show Password. Enter admin credentials and it appears.
