What is the best way to recover photos on iphone 6 IOS 10.0.2 after they have been deleted going two years back? I want to recover all deleted photos.

Same with an older iphone 4 IOS 7.1.1.

Have you used the phone for other things during that time? If so,most of what might remain of your photo files has been overwritten with other data a long time ago. To recover anything from a storage disc in a phone,tablet or computer,the unit must have been out of use since the data was erased.
If you use the disc for anything at all,parts or all of the data will be overwritten with new information.

The only way to recover that data is if you happen to have a 2 year old backup lying around. But because backups get overwritten, its very unlikely you do.
