Hi all,

I bought Keynote from the app store and have been viewing a few presentations in Powerpoint. First of all, every time I open up the presentation, I get a few error messages (quite standard) telling me that it's unable to convert certain fonts. That's all normal.

But upon restart of the computer the next time, I invariably get files automatically in my trashcan. Upon further scrutiny, they are "recovered" files from those PPT presentation.

I guess I'd like to know if that's normal? Why would these recovered files be automatically dumped to trash?

Thanks!

This is normal for you're mac to due this. These are temp files made by various apps on you're mac. Simply empty the trash when you see them.
