iPhone 42 my friend got wet, she put it in rice for 4 days and it's semi working but pretty much DOA. If I plug it into my PC, without me pressing the power button I see the Apple logo for a few seconds, then it goes away and I see a battery with a few pixels worth of bars. It stays doing this in a loop. I have an ASRock MB which has the Apple fast charge feature. I've tried multiple USB ports, same issue. If I plug it into wall it boots up and I can see her photos and contacts are there. She wants me to pull her Photos off and put them on her new iPhone 5s. Wifi/Data/BT isn't working. If I unplug it from the wall while it's fully on it instantly shuts off.

I believe I'm in DFU mode now, I've download about 6 different iPhone data recovery programs with no luck. Leawo seems to want to work, but I get some sort of error about iTunes components not loading properly and to restart. Getting the phone into DFU mode is a pain because it does the restarting on it's own thing. I believe I'm in it now. I googled and found you can SSD into the ramdisk. GOOD, well it's not working for me. I run Putty and get this

Mobile Device event: Dfuconnect 7531227, 8008940
DFU device 'UNSUPPORTED' connected
Ignoring unsupported device UNSUPPORTED

Which looks like from Googling is because the phones not in DFU mode, I can't seem to get it to go into it with it powering on and off on it's own when plugged to the PC. I tried the 10 seconds both bottons 15 seconds home only. iTunes detects it, but it seems I can't get anything but recovery modem to work.

Since I can technically get on the phone and see her pics, I'm guessing there has to be a way to pull the photos off. I'm open to any suggestions on methods, or if there's something I can buy I'll all ears.
