Ive deleted some data that i need back very badly off of my iphone 3gs, is this possible? i deleted some photos. im on 3.1.2 jb with blackra1n

Do you use Time Machine to back up your computer? If so, you can restore the backup folder to the time just before you deleted the things on your iPhone.

You would simply then connect your phone to iTunes and right click on the phone and select restore from backup. I've done this many times.

If you don't backup using Time Machine, you should start just for this reason.

A deleted file isn't really destroyed when you delete it. The space it used is just marked as available, and file pointers to it are removed. So...the data is probably recoverable.

I'm guessing the iPhone is using an EXT2/EXT3 partition type. Given that, I googled "recover undelete ext3 on iphone". Here's one link that looked interesting:

Depending on how desperate you are, you might try to call some data-recovery businesses.

And one side note... You might want to stop using the phone and power it off. Any write operation might over-write the space/sector where the file is. Then...it really will be un-recoverable.
