I apologize if this is posted in the wrong section, but I desperately need your help. I lost a family member recently and want to try and recover some photos and videos of her from my iPad. Within the last few months I took several videos and photos of her, but only kept the ones I really liked, and deleted all others. Now, due to her unexpected death, I would love to get those photos and videos back that I din't keep.

I never backed up my photos or videos to iCloud or iTunes. For what ever reason, that feature was never enabled. IPad was given to me as a gift about a year ago and I'm still learning my way around it.

My iPad is a 2015/16 iPad Pro, and only has 32 GB of storage space, so when I deleted files from the Photos folder, I also deleted them from the 'Recently Deleted' folder. I did this to conserve what little space I have.

Are there any worthy free apps to try? I tried this free app https://www.icare-recovery.com/iphone-recovery/ Thankfully, I was able to recover 3 short video clips I took of her, but there were so many other pics and vids I deleted, and am not seeing them to recover.

I am truly devastated, please help me if you can. It would mean so much to me.

I thank you all very much for any help with this.

Thank you very much for responding. I tried that one the other day with no luck. There are so many out there, and most aren't free. Of course, I'll certainly pay to get those files back if I have to, just wanted to try some free apps first, if available. I just don't know of any but that one I already used. I suppose an app with deep scanning capability may be what I need to use.

Again, thank you for responding. I truly appreciate it.
