iPod Recovering purchased music

If my hard drive crashed, is there any way to reclaim purchased music through my iTunes account?

AFAIK there is no way to redownload music whenever you want. If the files aren't stored anywhere else (you can retransfer purchased music off an iPod), you'll have to contact Apple, I have heard they might let you redownload it.
