Hi, everyone. I lost my disk in an attempt to port its contents to an SSD. I have a backup on the Time Machine. But I do not know how to restore it once the original disk ended up getting a windows 7 and the new one is zeroed. Any suggestions ?

Connect the time machine drive, boot the Mac by holding down the option key, boot from the time machine drive.
What year and model Mac are you on and what OS X version are you on? You may be able to option key boot from the Time Machine drive and format the new drive from there and restore.
