Recovery mode

Ive been unlocked for about 6 months and today my phone had the yellow triangle with please connect to itunes and phone will not shut off

I was using version 1.0.2 firmware but i tried looking for the file and don't see it, so im thinking i may need to redownload the file?

Can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to get out of this recovery mode without losing any of my contacts or files on my iphone?

if you use a mac just use independence, it will kick it out of recovery mode google it and download the full version not the beta unless you want to use it on 1.1.3 then download the beta

Do i not need to download the firmware 1.0.2 since i cant find the file? Or do i not have to worry about that?

And will all my files be saved from before?

if it wont kick it out then you start worrying and dont worry you can download the firmware again and everything will still be there. i.unlock.no has the firmware just do some searching

umm i dont think it matters but if something run it with itunes, if that doesnt work then dont run it with itunes and kicking it out of recovery might take a minute or so, so dont worry

do you have any idea why this even occurred? it was really weird, the phone was on autolock so and i hadn't been downloading anything
all of a sudden it just went into recovery

oh and when i connect indpendence will i be prompted to do anything... or does it all run on its own?
