So, RA3 has finally been released and I can't wait to try it. The only problem is that it is not compitable with OS X and I would prefer not to install Windows on my computer just to play a game... So i wonder if someone out there could create a ciderport version of RA, so I can use OS X to play the game. I know someone that did this for CnC3: Kanes wrath, and it worked great! I am not asking for someone to do piracy, I just want a version of RA3 that works without Windows. I (of course) have my own windows copy of the game and therefore my own serial.

Patch 1.01 has already been released, so it would be nice if it was included :p

My english is realy bad. I write the text in german ;)

Also.

ElectronicArts.RA3[683]) posix_spawnp("/Users/Tim/Desktop/Command and Conquer Alarmstufe Rot 3.app/Contents/MacOS/cider", ...): Malformed Mach-o file

Hat irgend jemand eine idee?

I contacted the Dutch EA support and they said they're planning to release a Mac version of Red Alert 3 in February. I hope it's true, since I really want to play this game on OS X, and not use Boot Camp.

Oh my. You got a sensible answer out of Dutch EA support? I guess they DID change. Anyhow, this is awesome. I'd like to see a Mac demo too by the way.

up and running

I have red alert 3 up and running great with one problem...the size of the game looks to be in 4:3 and i have the 20 Mac display and cannot resize the game to fit the screen. I've tried everything i know but no help. The game plays fine but the cursor goes off the screen and makes it difficult to enjoy the game when you cant react fast enough. It fits up and down just not formatted to fit left and right. Any suggestions?

in case anyone is interested, I saw an unofficial Cider port floating on BS (if you dont know what it is, then don't bother PMing me), just like Kane's Wrath back then. It's a shame some random people ported this game while EA didn't ...

Aw, c'mon, you can't tell us you saw a port around and then not tel us where it is! (no, I don't know what BS stands for, I'm a n00b, so sue me)
