On my iPhone 7 with iOS 10.0.2 some third party apps dont show me the red counter badge on the app icon. i get the notifications on the lockscreen as usual but i dont have the red counter on the app icon. all settings are correct. i restart my phone, installed these apps again und made a restore. no change...

some of these apps are already optimized for iOS 10, so i dont know what the problem is...

sorry for my bad english. hope for an answer soon :)

So badges are enabled for those apps in notification settings?

Perhaps these apps don't use badges (there are some like Instagram that don't)?

Instagram doesn't use badges, and often enough I've seen Twitter not use them either (or only use them for some specific things if they are enabled in settings within Twitter). Not sure about a news app that you might be using, I've certainly seen some that don't use badges.
