The Red Delete button my brothers iPhone 2g is like stuck. It seems to have survived through the firmware upgrade too. I know the sensors aren't messed up because he can still use the keyboard to type and do other things. Any ideas as to why it's stuck?

Basically this is the delete button. Ususally Delete Message or Delete Photo. It's as if the button is stuck!

So actually it turns out to be that Delete Photo, Delete Message, Clear History, Clear Cache, etc all don't work. The don't click in/highlight. But the cancel button below it works. I hope that helps a bit more.

It might be a faulty touch pad in that specific area on your iPhone. Take it to Apple see if they can fix it.
