I just got a new Macbook and am planning to get rid of my old, old iMac that we bought back before 2000. This still works well and I was wondering if it is worth my trying to sell it. I was thinking about somewhere like $40-50. Let me know about your thoughts. If this is not worthwhile, i would just through this away (in my apt garbage can...).

They're realistically worth bugger all, give it to a friend/neighbour who needs a computer or too a charity. Would be a shame to chuck it out as they are ok machines for email, word processing or very light web browsing, stick Ubuntu on it and you can even run the latest Firefox.

When you post it for sale, make sure you put "Vintage" in your title and description. That may get you an extra $100. ;)
