Red notification badge color changed

I updated to IOS 12 and immediately noticed that the red badge color is different for notifications on apps. Comparing screenshots from IOS 11 and IOS 12 confirms that something is off. I just read another thread about the entire screen looking washed out after upgrade to IOS 12, so I wonder if the two are related.

Anyone else noticed this?

The red has changed. If you have a screenshot from before, compare the two.

To clarify, the red is not as bright and vibrant as it was on IOS 11.

I don’t care to, nor am I surprised. UI tweaks are common with OS updates.

I see this as well. More of a washed out red. Almost salmon. Yikes!
