I can see all of my purchased movies under "purchased" but I do not see my digital copies I have redeemed in the past. Anyone else having this problem? I have Pixar movies that aren't showing up even.

Yeah, I'm having the same issue with a few of my purchased movies. I did notice one thing some movies from FOX, Universal & MGM arent available in icloud.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes & Harry Potter Deathly Hallows part 1 wont show in icloud , but HP deathly hallows part2 does?!?

Fox and universal aren't on the wagon yet I don't think. I'm not getting any of them though.

I am seeing all of my redeemed digital copies in the cloud now, including Pixar films (Up, TS3, A Bug's Life).

However I did notice that if I delete them (keeping a backup off-drive of course) and re-download, I get the same crappy pseudo-SD file from the digital copy, not the new 1080p file that iTMS is now serving for straight-up purchases.

All of my digital copies are there. In fact, the only movie missing is King Kong. From Universal, of course.

does changing the settings in iTunes under preference to 1080p help?

Marvel movies?

What about Marvel movies? I mean, the newer, Avengers-related ones, owned in full by Marvel. Is anyone else not seeing those? My digital copies of Incredible Hulk, Captain America, and Thor are not showing up in the iCloud part of the Apple TV. I think Hulk might be distributed by Universal, so that might explain that one. But I thought Captain America and Thor were distributed by Paramount?

Already did that, and no change. Consistent with what others are reporting around the web... the digital copy remains pseudo-SD resolution.

I'm getting the same results. However, at least on some re-downloads, I'm getting iTunes extras that I didn't get before.

At least that's something. :/

Because you only get the SD when you get the digital copy with a movie when you buy it. They aren't going to give the the HD version for free with this deal. IF the digital copy was HD then you can probably get the 1080P version of it.

What's weird is that when I go into the iTunes store and look up movies for which I KNOW for certain were digital copies and I had only gotten the SD version, both the HD and SD version say "downloaded". Except for my Firefly episodes.

Not seeing my X-Men: First Class either. Looking in the iTunes store, it's not for sale so that is probably the issue. I'm seeing Thor iTunes.

Based on the recommendation from another thread, I re-downloaded some of my digital copies, and I can confirm that they now show up in the iCloud. They are now appearing in my "Purchased Movies" section of my Apple TV.

I was able to do this with the following movies:
- Captain America
- Thor
- Wall E
- Monsters Inc
- Up

So, if you still have your digital copy disc and "redeem" code, you should be able to re-download them and have them show up in the iCloud.

One movie I can't get to show up, is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It will not let me re-enter the code, as it says it's been redeemed already. This is one of those Warner Brothers titles that you have to go to a website, enter the code from the paper insert, then it gives you a new code for the iTunes download. Weird.

I had the same problem with that one and and Deathly Hallows Part I. Half Blood Prince is actually available for download in iTunes, so I'm not sure why it isn't showing up.

It seems If you redeemed a digital copy and then look at the movie in the iTunes store on apple tv, it gives you the play option and it's SD. So there isn't any way to get HD even if you wanted to purchase it on the apple tv. Moving the highlight over wishlist though shows 1080p for format. Guess they are still working out some details in the interface.

How much would people pay to upgrade their "digital download" copy for an HD version?

I'm not sure exactly what I would pay but I'd definitely like an HD upgrade as an option.

Vudu

With the recent Vudu announcement iTunes would be wise to offer some kind of upgrade. I love my apple products but sd movies look awful on the new Apple TV and I have no interest in starting my iTunes movie collection over again from scratch.
