I finished a complete reset “erase all contacts and settings” after the iOS 14.2 was released and now I’m getting these Page redirect messages and some prior web sites titles that I had visited popping up upon closing the current Safari site shown below, and even though I close them out,I still get them each and every time I go into Safari, then trying to close out Safari. Does anybody know how to illuminate this from happening again? Hope I described as properly.

Looks like ad redirects. Consider getting an adblocker (I use 1Blocker from the App Store) or become a Contributor to MacRumors for $25 a year, which will remove ads and provide a few other perks.

Thank you for the reply and I do have an ad blocker (AdBlocker) now installed so we’ll see what happens there.

Edit: many thanks, my ad blocker does work. Seem like was a simple fix and thank you again

In addition to the add blocker recommendation, I have also noticed that some of these pop-ups at the bottom of the screen shown in above screen shot are a result of some Google searches, and I had to go into Google settings to make some changes that eliminated the pop-ups.

OK, OK, I’m getting this again and they won’t go away after sliding to the left to close it. Unknown what’s going on. I have another ad blocker called 1blocker and this does not work either so if anybody can come back here and let me know what the heck is going on with this I would appreciate it, greatly.

Just a update that I found interesting. I turned off AssistiveTouch, and now I don’t get those pop-ups that you see in the bottom of the photo above. However. I still don’t have the options to use more of my mouse buttons but at least I don’t get the irritating pop ups or whatever you want to call them. With AssistiveTouch turned back on, those pop-ups reappear from time to time even though I slide to the left each one of them and close them.
