Nice catch. I was expecting an announcement on http://blog.iphone-dev.org/.

This really makes things much simpler. Now I only need to recommend PT to people with 3G & 3GS phones which still have the old baseband, and I don't need to recommend blackra1n to anyone! It cleans up the flow-chart significantly.

Likely there are no changes from yesterday to today.

And if the phone is already successfully jailbroken, then thats all that was needed.

Running it again will not do anything more or give you anything new, just possibly screw it up.
 
thelatinist, if your iphone is black, i have the same one, if it has the older bootrom...ill trade you. lol.
 
Redsn0w 0.9.1 Released

Seems there was a problem with the ipcc tethering hack in the initial release of redsn0w. For the time being the tethering hack code has been removed from redsn0w and it has been reissued with a new version number.
