Reduce white point on mac

"...Reducing the white point reduces the maximum values of a pixel. So if a pixel could have a range of 0-255 for each of the three colors, where 255 on all three produces white, then reducing it might make the maximum 230."

my question is how to repeat this on the mac? How do I correct the ICC profile?

I have - i1 Pro, DisplayCAL and baslCColor 5.7

System Prefs-Displays-Calibrate. Hold down the Option key while clicking on Calibrate.
That'll get you into "Expert" mode.
