My pictures that I've loaded onto my Mac were taken using a 6.3 mega pixel camera. I'm trying to upload a couple of pictures to a site and they are too large. I'm a new Mac user and I can't figure out how to save them at a lower quality so they take up less space. Any ideas??

ImageWell is a very handy app that does this. I find it's often the simplest way to do a quick resize.

Depends on what you're viewing them in.

If you use iPhoto, select the photo(s), choose Share -> Export from the menus, and put the size you want.

If you use Photoshop, use the Save for Web feature.

If you use another app, say what it is and then we'll talk.
