Hi all,

I came across this the other day and I don't think it's been mentioned - forgive me if it has.

If you switch on the Debug Console under Safari settings in iOS and you load up a webpage with an HTML tip, you'll notice that the message bubble has something written in it. Here are my screenshots of the easter egg!

Here is the developer console - note the green message bubbles:

And here is the message icon itself zoomed in. I've tried to sharpen it a bit but I hope you can make out what it says:

So, what do you think? :D

There are also references to Jobs and Apple in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion as well. See http://www.machackpc.com/mac-os-x-lions-all-my-files-icon-contains-hidden-tribute-to-steve-jobs/ to see what I mean.

Enjoy!

That, is one of the reasons I really admire Apple. Sometimes the littlest things are the most interesting. I really love the almost child like mentality behind putting in these tiny quotes, they're so meta it's awesome.

Why's this a tribute? Not only did he not come up with that phrase, he didn't even like it.

I restored my phone the other day and when I was adding my details one of the email fields was already filled in with steve@jobsrip.com or something very similar to that. I'd forgotten till now

Sorry if I misled anyone - I guess I was just inclined to believe that it referenced Steve in light of his death. I changed the thread title, hopefully that helps.

Sorry again. I hope you've enjoyed the finds though!

All the best.
