Hello. I just bought my mac almost 2 weeks ago. I was wondering if I reformat the OSX, will I still have iLife? (Is it in the 2 CDs that the package provided?) Also, I read some threads about printer and languages will be removed.

If I wanted to add say, traditional Chinese back to the OSX, how can I do it?
Finally, if I install a printer to my computer, how am I able to use it? Download drivers from the internet?

Your reply is much appreciated.

When you reinstall, you will have the option to isntall iLife and the other apps, along with the option on languages and printer drivers. You might have to click on something to get these options, but it should be pretty easy. Personally, I think I installed all the printer drivers, just in case, along with just one or two languages.

Just picking the languages you want will save you hard drive space, as would getting rid of apps you don't plan on using.

I think you can add things you left out later, but I'd need to go home and check to give you the right answer.

You can also choose to install X11.
