Apple is offering the standard 1.83 refreshed/refurbished MBP for 1600 with free shipping. I want to know if you fellow mac users thing this a good deal or not. I dunno if this a good deal or not since Apple the cost of a 2.0ghz MBP refreshed/refurbished is the same as a new MBP but the 2.16 cost $100 more over the 2.0. Odd I think since you'd think it cost less used. Are there any other place other ther ebay as I rather not bid for a computer with similar deals?
Does anyone think I should wait till July when the rumored 2.33 MBP is released, which could bring down the price of the 1.83 down even more(?), and the price of the 2.0 down also(?). Thank you

I was thinking the same thing before I got my MacBook, but some of those, if not all of them, are the models that have been having so many problems. Other people can provide links, but they've done a few sub-revisions of the MBP's to fix the most egregious problems.. problems that those refurbs probably suffered from and we sent back.

Caveat Emptor.

Oh okay, anyone else want to chime in with more information?
Does anyone know what apple does with their refreshed/refurbished products?
