Hi all

So my refub 24" 3.06 came today and instead of 2GB and 500MB its fitted with 4GB and 1TB disk.

Is this the norm?

I was going to send it back, but its quite nice 8)

another quick question

Im finding the 24" alittle high. Is this normal at first ?

People have often said the iMac feels a bit high to them. I guess its really how your sitting and desk layout etc.

Me personally, I don't mind it at all.

By the way, congrats on the extra options, just turn and run my man and never speak about it again... to anyone!!! LOL :D

Are you sure you got the 8800 GS and not the 130 GT? Do you have 3 USB ports on the back or 4?

That's what I'm wondering. Lucky if the OP paid for the previous generation, but received the latest one.

I wonder if this would cause I problem if he were to ever need to bring it in for service.

Hi all

No its a 8800GS card but is showing as 1TB HD and 4GB DDR2 800MHZ Ram

So yes got a good deal.

But i'm finding it hard to use. It feels to big, the screen is massive and feels very high.

I had a 22" monitor 16:9 hooked up to my MBP and this now feels weird.

Dare I say, I was thinking about returning the Imac...am I mad...??

YES! Keep it!

It's gonna take a week or 2 to get used to the bigger screen. I went from a 12" PowerBook to a 15" MacBook Pro and I had the same feelings as you about adjusting from a smaller screen to a bigger one. Now the 15" feels normal to me and I can see myself going from 15" to 17" in the near future.
