I bought a refurbished macbook about a week ago and it has a messed up trackpad button. And the palmrest plastic is lifted up on one side of the mac. So my question is do you think that I can get a full refund of the price I paid? I am under the 14 day return time so If i cant I guess I can just pay the restocking fee. But I really want all my money.

You'll have to pay the 10% fee, unless it's a BTO, of course, in which case there are no returns. Why not just have it repaired or replaced?

I would do that but I just want to order a new one, not refurbished. Or maybe use the money for a car.

Given that the product is damaged they will probably just refund your money but your best bet is just to call Apple to see what they can do for you.

If the macbook that you received is defective, you should have no problem to return it and get the refund. I have returned two refurbished MBP, both were issued full refund. You just have to call Apple and state your problem, say you wanna get the refund and buy a new one.
