I was thinking about buying one but was just wondering if there is anything i should i know before getting one.

I personally think Refurb is the way to go. Hardware that has been double checked by service professionals in the US rather than simply shipped over, backed by the same great warranty, and 13-34% cheaper!

In fact, I just ordered a 2.4Ghz 20" iMac from Apple Refurb.

Yeah, same here, I just ordered a 24" 2.4GHz iMac refurb, no regrets! Now I have to wait in excruciating anticipation until it arrives! :p
 
Likewise, I always order refurbs. They're usually just returns that people make for whatever reason. And it comes with the same warranty anyhow.
 
You read my mind, too! I just bought from Apple a refurbished 24" 2.8 Core extreme for $350 off retail price. Can't really beat that!!
