refurb iphone 3G S firmware version?

Was wondering if anyone was able to get a refurbished iphone 3gs with firmware 3.0 during this month? Is it likely that the current batch of refurbs will come with the latest firmware?

If it's possible, please indicate what was the day you got the refurb and what firmware it came with.

my refurb indicates that it was refurb'd in week 37, and it came with 3.0.1. I got it about 2 weeks ago

You get them as replacements when yours needs service.

I just swapped mine out today and the one they gave me has 3.1 on it.
