I know the limitations on the firmware, but to me it seems like a good deal. Enough ram to start working right away, decent video card. Plus a warranty for 90 days. No keyboard or mouse though.

Once again I wish I'd live in the US.

This machine would make a great server! They do cost more than twice that much over here, though.

Why the short warrantee? I thought all Apple refurb warranties were the same as their new models.

Its not sold by apple, thus not a standard apple warranty.

Got in before it sold out. Now deliberating whether $80 is worth to upgrade it to 3GHz (pushing the geekbench score like 900)..
