In the past I'd read that some people who bought refurbs from the Apple online store end up getting more ram than advertised; I've never bought a refurb before (I'm trying to price one out for my dad).

I'm just wondering what the probability is of getting more than 1GB in a refurbished mini. Has anyone gotten that, and if so, recently? I used to see alot more threads saying people were being upgraded, but I haven't seen many recently.

Thanks!

I ordered a mini a year ago and it came with 1GB ram instead of 512 and 160GB HD instead of 80GB :)

I got mine almost a year ago, and it came exactly as advertised.

If the mini matches your needs, it's a good little computer, but without upgrades over the past year, it's on the expensive side comparatively. Many threads on this topic exist.

I wouldnt count on it.

I just got a refurb white imac for my parents, and it came with all the specs listed...no surprises...
