Refurbished 11" MBA Shipping

Hey all,

Ordered a refurbished 11" MBA 'ultimate' on Thursday, March 10th - received an email saying it shipped on Friday, March 11th containing a tracking number.

It is now Tuesday, March 15th and the tracking number is still coming up as:

A label for this shipment has been created, but UPS does not yet have possession of this shipment. Once we receive the shipment, the tracking status will be updated.

I called Apple to see what was up and they maintain it was shipped out on Friday, March 11th - but according to that tracking number UPS doesn't have the shipment.

Should I be worried? In the shipping email the estimated arrival date is tomorrow, but that seems highly unlikely now..

Actually mine took 3 business days to get here, shipped from PA, delivered to MD.

No weekend movement.

This is what I learned from talking to Apple this morning..

The MBA was supposedly sent from overseas, it is now in Canada in customs and the tracking information should start working within the next 24-28 hours.

I thought that refurbs were always shipped from the United States?

Maybe american orders are generally shipped from the US? I dont' think ALL of any of their orders are shipped from the US.

I am also experiencing refurb shipping irregularities. I ordered last week and mine has not even been shipped. It is not shipping before the expected delivery date.

I imagine apple's shipping channels are probably overwhelmed right now...
