Refurbished 27" iMac, Fed Ex and a day wasted

So took today off because Fed Ex claims that my estimated Delivery date for my refurbished i5 will be today. Its 4pm, online it shows its in transit from Reno, NV. Doubt its getting here today, so I called Fed Ex and they said not sure why its showing as your estimated delivery date is today but it should be there by Thursday. Great so now I have to take another day off to make sure I get it. AHHHH!!!

Why not just wait until after work and then go pick it up from Fed Ex that night if you miss delivery? Sounds like a better idea than taking off work.

Its about 1.5 hrs away

I think the key word from Fedex was 'estimated'

unless the status says "out for delivery" it's not actually on the delivery truck. your package is still in transit to your destination's delivery center.
