Of course, the new iMacs come out one week to the day after I ordered my refurb quad-core 27" i5. It was a risk I was willing to take; but still, now that reality has set in, I am a little disappointed. Although my self-installed RAM upgrade to 12GB makes things a bit better
Anyway, not that I am going to do this, but I am just curious ... do refurbished models quality for the same "14-day, no questions asked" return policy?
What I am really more interested in, though, is will the refurb prices for what is now the older models come down soon? Does that usually happen? For example, I paid $1699 for my refurb. Should that price come down in the next week or so AND does Apple price match if within a certain window? So, if it came down to $1599 or $1499, would Apple refund me $100 or $200. Probably not, but just wondering.
