I bought my 10.5 pro in March last year so it’s not even 1 year old. Lately it’s started to miss touches, I purposely left the titles uncorrected and I. Not correcting this post so you can see what’s happening. There’s no reason for this, haven’t dropped it and it happens with all apps and both landscape and portrait. It’s made typing maddening and forget about playing games on it. Anyone else experience this? Any idea what the fix will be? Called apple and all they could say was try a complete wipe and resetting. I did that and restored from a backup and it still happens. I was on 12.1.2 and tried the latest 12.1.3 beta and no change.

It was an apple refurbished so it’s got a 1 year warranty right? I have an appointment with apple for Saturday so I’ll update but needless to say I’m very disappointed. My original iPad 2 lasted for over 3 years with no issues but my air 2 only made it a year and a half before it started having battery issues and now this has t even made it a year.

My 10.5 had touch sensitivity issues and Apple replaced mine. New one is working well so far although I’ve only had it for two days.

How long after you bought the first one did it start having issues?

That's pretty close to the time I've used mine. What did you need to do to get a replacement? Did the apple store do any diagnosis or testing and how long did you have to wait to get the replacement?

Thanks, I read the last page of that thread and it doesn't sound good. We will see what the genius says when I go on Saturday

Try to bring up these forum threads and make them recognize the issue does indeed exist and it's widespread.

P.S. Good luck! Please keep us posted.
