iPad Refurbished iPad Pro?

Hey all,

Does anyone have any experience buying a refurbished iPad Pro 11"?

I was thinking that it would be just as good as a brand new one, but slightly more affordable and reasonable with price.

What do you guys think?
 
Only visible difference is that you’ll receive the iPad in a plain white box instead of the retail box.

Otherwise, yes the battery and screen should be same as new.

EDIT: This only applies to buying from apple.com at their refurbished sales storefront.

I’d consider a refurbished iPad Pro from Apple but I wouldn’t from a 3rd party reseller. Direct from Apple I’d know that I’d be getting a year of warranty but there’s no telling what I’d get from a 3rd Party or who did the refurbishment for that matter.

There are those who will debate the quality of Apple’s refurbishment and I won’t deny that some documented cases of workmanship issues exist but the fact remains that the full warranty coverage is there so it warrants a look for me personally. If one parlays the savings into AppleCare+ then they can get even more peace of mind vs a new device.
 
Stick to buying from Apple only. With Apple refurb you get full warranty and can even buy AC+.
 
^I did buy an refurbished 9,7" iPad Pro Wi-Fi Cellular 128 Gb from Apple official reseller, as I gave a dead one for trade. It was not particularly cheap - nothing is here in Finland with 24% VAT - but it is as new.

No box, no charger, just iPad Pro wrapped in plastic. One year warranty.

New 10,2" Wi-Fi Cellular with pen isn't that much more expensive so I'd probably choose it if I had another chance..
 
I bought my refurbished Pro 11 directly from Apple. I got the 512GB LTE version and also purchased Apple Care +. No problems with my IPad. I agree with others, buy refurbished directly from Apple Since you get the standard 1 year warranty and can purchase Apple Care.

Where is Apple selling LTE based iPad Pro 2018s?
 
Stock comes and goes. Currently see 256gb and 1tb versions of the LTE variant of the 11" iPP on Apple's refurbished section of their site.
 
I just ordered a certified Apple refurb, waiting for it to get delivered. From every review I see online, it should basically be as good as new.
