First of all I'm a new "member" to MacRumors but I have been reading the forum posts for about a month. Thank you to all the honest and clear folks who post in here, I am impressed.
Is it my imagination or do refurbished macbook pros keep getting cheaper? Macconnection has one for $1449, which I found through this site. I have read some posts about refurbs but I am curious if anyone here has actually purchased a macbook pro refurb and if it came with no problems. Also, am I missing something with the Macconnection deal? Is reconditioned different than refurbished?
Thanks for comments.

PS random question... Anythoughts on if the World of Warcraft expansion will require greater CPU speed or more RAM. I am thinking about if the current line of MacBooks will have enough umph.

I have purchased a refurbd macbook pro from the US Apple Online Store. It did come with one problem. There was a dent on the side, like someone tried to pry the case open. Called up Applecare, no problem, replaced for free. I just have to make the effort to go to the supply depot and get it fixed. Minor hassle, no time yet.

I highly doubt the expansion will require anything more than the current requirements. If they did this they would alienate the current players. However more RAM will always help. :)
