I bought a MacBook Pro M2 14 inch from Apple's Refurbished store.
After checking some reviews on YouTube and the internet, the consensus seems that on refurbs the battery is changed to a new one. Doesn't seem to be the case with me.
Mine came with a load cycle of 3 (not worried) and was made in April 23 so is nearly a year old.
However, when I check Coconut Battery it says the design capacity is 97%. I've had other Macbooks and Coconut battery was mostly right.
I know it's not always right, but this kind of worries me as it's straight from the box.
I've charged it to 100% and am now using it on battery and watching it like a hawk. After about 6 hours the battery has dropped 42%. This is only with Safari web browsing and brightness at 50%.
Is this normal?
I don't want to end up with a lemon since I'm still in my return window. I'm from Europe so Macs are more expensive here and we don't have AppleCare+ in my country, so if it seems abnormal I'd rather send it back quickly.
Thanks for your thoughts!
