Hello everybody !

I'm new with the ipad and I (of course) love it !
My sister logged in my device on the app store and downloaded on my ipad all of her apps, then logged out but the apps are still there ?! Is this normal ? It's seems easy to get all apps from all my friends this way, a little too easy :/

Are the apps going to get blocked ? or remove overtime ? is there really zero risk ?
Coming from Apple who is very thorough it's seems too easy:/

Thank you for any answer !

It won't get blocked or removed. But for the app updates you need to enter your sisters Apple ID password.

Thank you for the answer Illumiinati! If I may, I'm surprised because Apple seems so business focused, why do they allow this type of situation where this is so easy not to pay for apps while they could be compensated ? I'm sure they could easily fix this type of situation for them to get some money :/

I.m not complaining, I'm glad to have these apps for free but I'm surprised !

Or easy way you can add your sister in family sharing so that you can share/ download songs and apps without paying extra

We are trying to do that but the mail she receive asking for a confirmation for her to be added to the family sharing doesn't work :/
And I love my sister but she is not the most patient girl in the world so we abandoned (we are far appart from each other I can't force her)

I have family sharing set up for my wife, my wife's mom, and I. Definitely helps to have everyone in the same place when setting this up. Every now and then iOS will complain about the apps and require logging in with a different account. I've had it happen twice where my phone will say these apps are no longer available, requiring me to re-download them too. Definitely frustrating but minus these events, it's been pretty good/stable.

iTunes purchases typically requires having the latest version of the iOS or iTunes, uptodate/confirmed payment and enabled cookies in Safari (iTunes/Mac).
So when trying again keep those in minds in case you are facing difficulties. Many times requires entering the password several times if the sharing is set up as such, to get authorization to download or buy apps.

I second Family Sharing. This will let you use your sister's apps, and you can run updates for free. This is what I do with my family, saves a lot of money so I wouldn't need to buy the same apps we like multiple times.
