Regarding iWeb's non-Mobile Me abilities

So I designed my new website in iWeb, and I have a domain and hosting with 1and1 internet services...They told me a site created with iWeb would work with their service, but I can't figure out how to make it work Does anyone know if iWeb sites can be used with services besides MobileMe? I didn't want Mobileme because it has a lot of stuff I don't need. I just need this new website.

Anyways, the iWeb file is named some funky extension like .sites2 or something, but I need like HTML files or something...? I'm a complete noob at this.

In simple, publish to folder, then upload that folder. If you don't have that option please let us know what version of iWeb you're using.
