Registering for the Apple Developer program as a company requires a D-U-N-S number. My company is registered abroad but has an American postal address and phone number.

Does anyone have experience signing up for a D-U-N-S number as a foreign company with an American postal address and phone number? Does that work?

Thanks!

With Google Android a foreign number is fine as long as you have it and the particulars. I used a for profit corp for that one.

With Apple the same but I used a not-for-profit for that one to escape the yearly fees (Google is a one time 25 buck charge). With this one I had an EIN number with the IRS to operate in the States but it did not not matter. Only that Dun and Bradstreet number outside the US.

Also asking for it doesn’t mean you get it quick. My companies were around for ages and were there already. I’ll check on a corporation I incorporated like two years ago and see if it’s listed.
