Reinstall IOS issues after a spill

I am trying to reinstall this IOS system on my Mac after a water spill and having issues after having to reboot in recovery mode. USB boot drive not working. I am receiving a message that “The disk does not use Guid partition scheme” Mac users help!!?! Any advice is much appreciated

If you can borrow another working Mac from somewhere, you can use your USB to create a bootable media on that Mac.
Also, maybe you need to send your Mac for a repair.

Try internet recovery?

Are you sure the Mac is completely dry?
