Hello guys,

Just wondering how I can reinstall mountain lion on my brand new 2012 iMac configured with fusion drive. I'd like to do a complete and secure erase before installing OS. Please, if anyone has done so or knows how to do it, please tell me!

Thank you in advance

You should not do a secure erase, not so good for SSD's.

Just startup in recovery mode and install OS, Startup with Command-R or hold down the Option key at startup.

I'm interested in way of reinstalling system on Fusion drive... What happens if you do reinstall? Do you lose all your data on Fusion drive in that case???

A standard reinstall will not erase data on the drive. The only way data would be erased would be if you used Disk Utility to erase the partition before you did the reinstall.
