I just bought a new 27 inch imac, just came today, everything is going well so far and screen look pristine.
However what i need help with is my older mid 2007 alum 20 inch imac. I'm giving it to my mother and i just did a clean install of snow leopard. which worked fine. Installing my old iwork 08 software seams fine to.
Problem is i'm having trouble install the iLife 08 that came preinstalled with with Tiger at the time. i believe iLife is on Mac os x install disk 2 (correct?)
When i put it in all that shows up is a .rtf file that shows up in TextEdit
and it says this.
To install Mac OS X and the applications that came with your computer, use the Mac OS X Install Disc 1. Double-click "Install Mac OS X and Bundled Software" and follow the onscreen instructions.
isn't their a simple way of me just installing iLife 08
