I posted this on Apple's discussion forums a couple of days ago but nobody's answered it so I'm posting here too.

My iBook came with OS 10.2.1 and 9.2.2. There are 5 software CDs, 2 for OS X, and 3 non-bootable Software Restore CDs. I'm going to sell my iBook and want to restore the hard drive to the way it was when originally purchased. The Software Restore CDs require OS X to already be installed on the system, that's fine, because I have the OS X CDs. My problem is that when installing OS X, you're asked to enter your name and other details, and register the system. Naturally I don't want to type my details in here because they won't apply to the person who buys my iBook. So how can I avoid the registration assistant and perform a "factory restore"?
