Obviously you're not a golfer.
<stupid question>

i have a legally purchased OEM copy of XP Home, which i have installed under bootcamp and activated with microsoft. when i wipe my MBP to do my annual clean installation, i am also planning on doing the same with my bootcamp partition. can i reinstall my OEM copy of windows again via bootcamp on the same computer? in other words, my understanding is that the OEM software is locked to the hardware, but i can reinstall it on the same machine, right?

You might have hassles reactivating Windows. I sure did when I attempted a Windows reinstall, and for all subsequent Windows reinstalls. Other than that, you shouldn't have any trouble.

You shouldn't have any problems because it should recognise that it's the same hardware. If for some reason it doesn't like it, just ring Microsoft and they'll give you an activation code. :)
