Here's my odd situtation.

I have a Ti Pb that has a broken LCD, so I use an external monitor, which works fine. Except when I try to install an OS it boots up, but my monitor is not recognized so I can't see anything. If I click around randomly I hear the DVD spin back up.

I want to do a clean install of Tiger. Is there any keyboard sequence that can accomplish this, without having a viewable screen?

Once the OS is installed the monitor will be fine.

If no my only choice will be to find another Mac and reinstall in Target Disk Mode.

Do you think it will work if I connect my PB to the TV?

Thanks!

I think you can do it by just hitting Return a lot. You might skip the DVD test if you do that though.

Target Disk Mode is a good idea, however I don't currently have access to another Mac. I guess I need to wait.

Damn I want the new 20" Intel iMac :)
