I recently installed Windows Media Center Edition from my Dell PC to my Mac. Everything was working all right but I couldn't activate it. As I understood later it was illegal to do that which is a bit weird to me that I gotta buy a separate copy of Windows for each computer but that's the way:mad: . Now the 30 day trial is over and cannot log in anymore. I guess I will have to reinstall when I get my XP. Is there any way to reinstall without losing what I have already. And is it gonna be a problem to reinstall on the first place or I have to erase the partition first.
Thank you.

you could just boot into the mac side and drag what you need off the Windows harddrive and then delete the partition with Bootcamp.

Reinstalling

Thanks.
And is it necessary to delete the partition before I reinstall the new copy, I'll buy the Home Edition probably.
