Hello, when i first got my iMac a made a 80GB partition for bootcamp thinking i wouldn't use it that much... now i regret that and i have 512MB left... i need to extend the size of it to something like 200GB but i don't want to upset any of the OS'es... can anyone help me do this? i was thinking disk utility (cant remember if it lets you) but then i thought it may do it in a way what upsets windows... has anyone done it before? can anyone help?

Thanks in advanced

hit a bombshell... looked into them options, winclone was old and people reported issues with SL and Windows 7 so i took the use native programs method... i backed up my bootcamp to a DMG and i shrunk Macintosh HD... then i booted windows to extend my partition to the unallocated space, but oh no! that space was on the "left" so i cant... everywhere says to use 3rd party software and i dont know how well that would go on mac so i dont want to... my only other idea is to format the boot camp partition, make the 80Gb unallocated then use botocamp tool thing to make a bigger partition then restore the DMG back to the new partition... would this work? can i boot from a restored DMG?

Thanks

Liam
