Release date for wireless AirPods charging case?

I just lost my AirPods charging case... So I'm now using my friend's charging case occasionally for a recharge. Since it is rumoured that the wireless charging case is coming soon I think I can still wait... Any info on this? Thanks

There is no information. It might be released alongside whenever the HomePod releases or Airpower in 2018.
