Will Both iOS 17.2 and Sonoma 14.2 be released at the same time? I want to enable key encryption on iMessage, but devices won't sync if they both don't have it enabled.

What's "key encryption"? iOS 17.2 and macOS 14.2 will introduce manual key verification, but nothing will change in the way iMessage are sent or received.

Are you thinking of iCloud Advanced Data Protection? That’s not new in 14.2.
