I am looking to relock my 1.1.4 iPhone to upgrade to 2.0 when it come unlockable.

I unlocked the fone with iplus 2.0. I have search the forums and ain't really found a solution yet.

I have installed bootneuter and when it first loads it says I have a 3.9 bootloader which is correct as the fone is 4gb.

The rest of the settings say neuter = no, fakebake = no and unlock = no

Please can somebody help me out on which is the best way to relock my iPhone and then update to 2.0

Thanks in advance

Maybe, I'm wrong, but can't you just reset it through iTunes? At least, I have to unlock it again after a reset...

so do i just have to do a restore with orginal 1.1.4 firmware yeah.

Can somebody confirm that is correct?

d900man: were you able to relock your phone? i'm trying to do the same thing with my 2g 1.1.4 phone as I have to bring it back to Apple. Did you have to do anything other than a restore on iTunes?

I havent heard of any firmwares bricking phones since the 1.1.1 update. So if you just update to 2.0 it will relock the phone. However make sure you have a legit account before doing this because its the only way to activate afterwards

If you dont have a legit account then you need to restore to 1.1.4 then use pwnage tool 1.1 to pwn your phone and then use the latest pwnage tool 2.0.3.1 to create a custom 2.0 firmware that has unlocking option unchecked. That way the phone will be jailbroken but not unlocked then restore to the custom firmware.

Simply restoring to 1.1.4 wont relock the phone since unlocks tend survive the firmware you unlocked
